The weather in October is usually still very pleasant and yes you can get a taxi from Elounda to the hotel if you decide not to walk.

Hello, there is no need of a car. The hill takes about 5-7 minutes to walk up. Taxi costs 5 euros to take you from the center of the village to the hotel
